Waterford led the way out of Straits Harbor under overcast skies at 7:30 a.m. The forecast was for winds moving to a more westerly direction and waves to decrease ---- NOT! Winds were N-NE all the way with waves a steady 3-4 ft on our beam. NOAA (US govt marine forecast) strikes again! It wasn't a very comfortable ride, but we were safely docked in Rogers City by 2 p.m.
Garry and I took a walk to the hardware store (where else?). When we stayed here on the way up Lake Huron, we took in a movie at the little downtown theater. Unfortunately, no movies this week, so we just chilled back at the boat.
We were treated to a beautiful sunset............
