Our scheduled 7:30 departure was delayed this morning due to the arrival of the tall ship Madeline, out of Traverse City.
A rather interesting "bow thruster" don't you think?!
The guys helped secure her to the dock and then we were on our way.
SW winds made for a rough ride most of the way. We've already had more choppy days on Lake Huron than we had for the 2 months on Lake Superior. Go figure!
We met another tall ship up bound about half way to Harrisville. Didn't catch her name, but she is likely on her way home after participating in the reenactment of the Battle of Lake Erie over the Labor Day weekend. Sails all set, she was a beautiful sight.
We pulled into Harrisville, another of our favorite harbors, about 3 p.m. for the night.
